The drama masks are two masks that represent comedy and tragedy. These are well known signs for a play or show.

Amphitheatre is a cone shaped theatre, made in the shape of a cone so that whatever is happening in the centre is broadcasted to the rest of the stadium.

These two are linked in a way in which whatever was happening in the centre of the amphitheatre is exaggerated with masks larger than their own faces.

Slapstick is a type of comedy (physical comedy) using extravagant and boisterous actions.

An example for this would be the film ‘the lady killers’ where the comedy in this is of a dark humour, where many misfortunes come to people that deserve it in a comedic kind of way using boisterous abuse.
